The Chinese see the handling of Climate Change as a "carbon reduction" problem. This is deeply flawed and will not resolve the problem. No carbon reduction plan will ever stop the increase of CO2 in the next 30 years significantly. There are other ways to go......
A Review of the Must-Read ‘Inquisition of Climate Science’ - This article is cross-published at Climate Progress. John Atcheson has more than 30 years in energy and the environment with government, private industry, and the nation’s leading think tanks. He is working on his own novel about climate change.
Well, another noteworthy dining experience after Gruenfisch yesterday. We had:
www.gruenfisch.de/ has good reports wherever you find something written about the Restaurant. I went there on October 22 and I only can confirm all the good things that have been said about this Restaurant.
My delightment started with the initial offering of fresh made bread with a spread from basil and dried tomatos and a wonderful sicilian olive oil.
2 days in Beijing now. Food is as good as last time, traffic as bad. The workshop with ISTIC was amazingly good, many enthusiastic graduate and post graduate students who participated in the discussion. I am excited for Berlin8 next week.
I visited today the Olympic village and the new center of CCTV, then later Opera in the new Beijing Opera house. Woww, finally great ideas and great architecture. Neverthelesse I must admit, I like most Guangzhou, Shanghai is too chic, and Beijing is too capital, but anyway.
