Germany is working to create its Research data Infrastructure. Monies will be available at the end of the year and consortia can present their projects.
From today on I will not use Facebook anymore to publish originary content. I will reopen my blog at johanneskeizer.com, which I stopped in 2013. I want to be able to manage my pictures, thoughts and news as I like, I want to maintain control. I don't want to give this control to Facebook.

July 2015: I represented the GODAN initiative at the meeting of the European Federation of Information Technology in Agriculture. Parallel to the EFITA conference the first stakeholder workshop of the eROSA project took place, where I gave a presentation on different views on Infrastructure.
Johannes Keizer and Fabrizio Celli got the best paper award at MTSR 2016 (the 10th international conference on Metadata and Semantics Research) The awarded paper had the title "Enabling Multilingual Search through Controlled Vocabularies: the AGRIS Approach " (see attached presentation)
I participated from July 10-13 in International Conference on Trends in Knowledge and Information Dynamics, which was organized by DRTC-ISI (Documentation, Research and Training Center, Indian Institute of Technology).
The Directorate F - Emerging Technologies and Infrastructures is organizing a series of consultations for the preparation of Horizon 2020, the new Framework Program for research funding. I was invited to participate also in the Rome event about "open Infrastructures for open science". I expressed my opinion that the importance of semantic standards and linked open data technologies should not be underestimated.

An interesting intiative is EUDA with the intent to create trusted data services between public and private partners.
THe same issues that we are discussin in agINFRA (structures, vocabularies, relations, persistent identifiers, protocols) are addressed in the EUDAT system.
