I am at the moment in Singapore at the DC2007 meeting. I delivered a keynote in the first session after the introduction by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Singapore's Minister for Community Development, Youth & Sports and Second Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts.

The title of my presentation was "AGMES-Application Profiles - Building Blocks for a Semantic Web Space in Food and Agriculture". There are about 200 participants from 30 countries. I think it was very important that I pointed out in the first slides, that I am working for FAO and what the goals of FAO are. My keynote was very well received and there were various interested questions afterwards, regarding both parts: application profiles and subject vocabularies.
