I heard a very interesting presentation about an Agro Advisory system.Farmer Advice system, called e-Sagu.

Volunteers are making regularly photos from the fields of the farmers and store them in an information system at the Extension service. There is one coordinator for about 40 farms. Experts are screening the photos and they intervene when they see negative developments. This has multiplied the number of farms which can be surveyed by one expert.
