I have been to the Zander first time in February 2007 and had kept it in my memory as an expensive but worthwhile place.  I came back in November 2008 with a party of 6 ( the same party that had dinner the night before in ; Sol y Sombra for a mere 110 €.) This time I wante to show my friends from Boston that there is also "fine dining".

Well, at the end we were set back for 320 €.  More embarassing was the comment of my daughter "und wo kriegen wir jetzt ne Currywurst", which was a comment to the size of the served portions.  Matilde was joking, she had enjoyed her 4 course goose menu very much and it was also sufficient, but just, and no course too much.  3 of our parte had 4 course menus (my one was game from the region and excellent), but three others had only one dish.  The 320 € bill is pardoned also for 2 bottles of the best Spaetburgunder, I ever had in my life!
